Merry Christmas Eve ~ December 24th, 2009

December 24th! This day is exciting for SO many reasons. First of all for the obvious reason that its Christmas Eve and all the fun that goes along with it. Second, because we had the 8 week ultrasound today. Basically if everything is still ok by the 8 week ultrasound it means it will most likely stay ok right to the end. And everything is ok. This is a huge moment to celebrate. And third, because this is also the day of my very last injection ever ever ever. That makes me VERY happy. You all know how much I have HATED the needles. They have been a daily(and sometimes twice daily) stress for me for the last 2 months or more. They were painful to get and my leg would be hard to walk on afterward. Now that they are over I am SO much happier.

Tonight we are just hanging out with the kiddies, then they will go to bed early while we set up the presents under the tree and do last minute stuff. Merry Christmas everyone!

Decorating The Tree ~ December 20th, 2009

Tonight we decorated our Christmas tree. Yes, we did leave it for the last minute but its just been so busy. We let the kids do it ALL by themselves. They had so much fun. Riley was more interested in the snacks for the most part but she got in there and helped a little. Merry Christmas!

Twas The Week Before Christmas ~ December 2009

Christmas is nearly here and as usual it has been super busy. Last week was crazy. Wednesday was Kenzie’s last day of school before the holidays so we made a snowman cake for her class and brought presents for the kids and teacher. Wednesday night we had parent teacher interviews which went very well. Nothing bad to say about any of them, nothing to work on. (Hooray) Thursday was the Christmas concert at school, and then Friday was Lochy’s last day so we made another snowman cake for his class, along with little presents for the class and teacher as well. It was also Lincoln’s last day, and of course he is getting older now and I am not allowed to bring in childish things like snowman cakes but Lincoln and I did make little presents for his class. We made a million batches of homemade caramel popcorn and packaged it up individually for each of his classmates. Check out the pics!
